- First live vocal performance, at Miami nightclub in 1981, at the age of six.
- Loser at county fair talent contest for impression and performance of Michael Jackson's "Billy Jean", 1983.

- Co-wrote and performed the soundtrack to a nationally aired television commercial for the Quetzal Foundation environmentalist group entitled "Environmental Revolution" in 1996.
- Lost total track of time living in a state of suspended adolescence while touring Florida with the cover bands the Bleeding and Vendetta, 1997-1999.
- Featured solo vocalist and semi-finalist on national television program, Ed McMahon's "the Next Big Star," in 2000.
- Recorded with and co-produced Florida band, Freax, at Miami's "Hit Factory", where Eric Clapton originally recorded "Layla", in 2000.
- Award recipient in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for the song "Pave Me Ground" in 2000.
- First European tour as a solo artist, 40 show itinerary, in 2001.
- Joined independent European label, Gritt Records, 2001.
- Launched WWW.RICKBAUER.CC, home to all things "Rick", 2002.
- Second European tour as solo artist, 2002.
- Selected for Denmark's 'Idol' show 'Stjerne far Aften' 2002...disqualified for not actually speaking Danish!!!
- 2003, Solely formed Production Company and Independent Record Label 'Roads to Rome' Administrating, Producing, Writing, Engineering and Packaging work for South Florida musicians.
- 2004 Obtained New York's George Stein of Jeff Buckley fame for legal representation.
- First European Tour with the Rick Bauer Band, 2004
- Hired as Keyboardist/Backup vocalist for Sony hopeful Paris Dozier (son of legendary Motown writer Lamont Dozier), by London's In6 management, 2005.
- Released First Full-Length Album, ‘DAYBREAK’ independently, June 2005.
- Guest Artist for Armada Music recording Artist Markus Schulz, January 2007.
- Formed all-original Modern Rock group, ‘Science & Fiction’ with guitarist and production powerhouse, Steve Walbroehl, March 2007.
- Second European Tour with the Rick Bauer Band, April 2007.
- Licensed original track “Let it Go” to Netherlands record label Armada, October 2007.
